Job summary To provide a full and efficient secretarial service for their consultants, nursing team and the wider service. This will include ensuring that all documentation is produced to an excellent standard. Strong proof-reading skills are required. Administrative functions including monitoring patient waiting lists and ensuring compliance with NHS standards. To coordinate and organise the attendance of patients to appointments in line with local team and Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust arrangements as instructed. Effective communication, handling correspondence, liaising with Multidisciplinary teams, and managing telephone and email communications. To contribute to the management of the Consultants and team diary. To work with the team to ensure adequate cover is in place during periods of leave.
