My client, a global leader in facilities management and project management, is seeking a Finance Manager to act as lead on a major contract based in Glasgow.
As Finance Manager for a major Glasgow-based contract, you will:
1. Assist in driving Financial and Contract Governance to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent reporting.
2. Manage on a monthly basis Profit & Loss reporting and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring month-end timelines are met for both internal and client reporting.
3. Lead monthly contract business reviews and manage agreed Finance actions.
4. Effectively manage the on-site Contract support team.
5. Be a Business Partner by reviewing, validating, and challenging the operations team to manage costs in line with contractual obligations.
6. Lead Monthly payroll reviews, ensuring that correct costs are allocated to the account P&L and any recharges are processed.
7. Own contract debt management.
8. Prepare monthly/rolling forecasts.
9. Work with the Operations team to prepare and validate annual Plans for upward review.
The most desirable Finance Manager applicant will:
1. Be a fully qualified Accountant.
2. Hold a high level of computer literacy (ERP systems, Excel, etc.).
3. Possess experience as a Finance business partner in a senior Operational team.
Up to £60,000 per annum plus Car Allowance and Hybrid Working.
