Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Ward Clerical Officer based at University Hospital Crosshouse for 12 months
What you will do:
You will work within a designated ward area providing a clerical and reception service, receiving patients and members of the public as they arrive at hospital. Duties include the maintenance and filing of patient confidential records, recording patient related data, admissions and out-patient appointments using the computerised patient administration system, answering telephones and relaying messages.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You should be able to work flexibly in order to meet service demands.
Candidates should possess SVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience.

Hours: 18.3 hours
Monday – Tuesday 8 am – 12 noon
Wednesday 8 am – 11.15 am
Thursday - Friday 8 am – 11.30 am
