We are seeking a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant to work within a KS1 classroom, providing support to students with additional learning and behavioural needs. This full:time position offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Roles and responsibilities:
* Work in partnership with the classroom teacher to develop customised learning tasks for children with special educational needs (SEN).
* Build strong connections with all children and adapt communication to their individual comprehension levels.
* Collaborate with educators and specialists to implement personalised educational plans.
* Contribute to the promotion of an inclusive classroom environment by effectively managing behaviour.
* Assist children in improving crucial life skills to foster greater independence.
* Monitor and document children progress, allowing for appropriate adjustments in support.
Requirements:
* To function effectively as a valued member of the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team.
* Demonstrate the capacity to address intricate and delicate matters with empathy and comprehension.
* Possess a solid grasp of the national Key Stage Curriculum.
* Show a profound understanding of child development and the learning process.
* Either hold an Enhanced DBS check or be prepared to obtain one through Randstad.
* Be eligible to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
* Exhibit knowledge of diverse special educational needs and the corresponding strategies for support.
