A leading infrastructure business based in London Victoria is seeking a Construction Lawyer to support its legal team on a part-time basis.

The Role
Working closely with the business, you will provide commercially focused legal advice across a range of areas, including construction, corporate, commercial, and procurement. The role offers a broad and varied workload, primarily focused on transactional construction matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial, construction, and engineering agreements.
* Providing strategic legal advice on procurement, commercial contracts, and corporate transactions.
* Managing disputes and contentious issues, ensuring risks are effectively mitigated.
* Reviewing, drafting, and updating policies and standard form contracts as required.
* Supporting the development of the wider legal function, delivering or facilitating legal training as required.
Key Requirements
* Strong experience in construction law, ideally with familiarity with NEC and other standard construction contracts.
* Broad legal expertise across commercial, corporate, and procurement matters.
* Experience in dispute resolution within a construction or infrastructure environment is advantageous.
* Ability to work autonomously and provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice.
* In-house experience is beneficial but not essential.
