Employability Specialist Advisor Salary - Starting at £27,500 Contract - Full Time - 12 Month FTC Location - Rochdale We are pleased to be able to offer some new opportunities on the Work and Health Programme and are looking for an Employability Specialist Advisor to join the team. This role requires an engaging, empathetic and motivating individual, able to support people with complex barriers to move into sustainable employment. You will be focused on ensuring every participants journey into sustainable employment is as smooth and well-coordinated as possible. You will ensure individuals access the right support and encouragement to overcome barriers to enter work and support them to sustain in their role. This role also involves engaging with external stakeholders to drive referrals to the programme You will work closely with your Local Authority, JobCentre Plus (JCP) and voluntary/ 3rd sector services. Once on programme you will be providing 1:1 support to individuals via outreach support and in the Ingeus Offices. As an Employability Specialist Advisor you will be: Involved in client contact through engagement events to promote the programme. Liaising regularly with JCP Work Coaches and other referral agents (External Local Signposting Organisations) Integrating with local community and health organisations to drive referrals. Facilitating welcome sessions for new participants, organising job fairs and local events to drive both referrals and job outcomes. Motivating participants while managing and facilitating their journey into sustainable employment. Sourcing appropriate employment opportunities for your participants and supporting them through the recruitment process. Providing high quality in work support to participants ensuring they have all the tools they need to remain in work. Undertaking or participating in regular case conferences with partner organisations, support services, employers and/or other team members to ensure every participants journey is smooth and consistent. Building and maintaining relationships with existing services within the community that will support participants in achieving their employability and wellbeing goals, including voluntary opportunities, benefits advice, counselling, housing support, training, health services and leisure activities. Being fully responsible for all tasks related to journey / case management function including maintaining effective and efficient administrative procedures producing appropriate records and reports, including the updating of participant details on the relevant case management system.
