Responsibilities of the Project Manager
1. To manage a water-related construction project, safely delivering works, completion within programme, managing costs and delivering to the client's specification/requirements.
2. Manage project delivery.
3. Liaise with Design Team.
4. Formulate and implement procurement strategy.
5. Prepare Monthly Client Progress Reports.
6. Make line managers aware of key issues and solutions.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, supply chain, and local authorities.
8. Produce and manage contract programme.
9. Understanding of Engineering Principles & Extensive technical knowledge.
Role Requirements of the Project Manager
1. Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering or HND in Civil Engineering.
2. Ideally water & civils project experience.
3. Understanding of Engineering Principles.
4. Knowledge and Understanding of construction contract law and forms of contract.
