SEN Care Support Worker
Location: Harrogate
Shift: Fixed shifts (either 7am-4pm or 12-9pm)
Salary: £28,328 - £30,555
Pay Rates:
Level 1: £13.02 per hour (weekday), £14.52 per hour (weekend)
Level 2: £13.19 per hour (weekday), £14.69 per hour (weekend)
Overtime is paid at enhanced rates

Role Overview
We're looking for someone with great resilience to join our team. The role involves supporting students in their day-to-day lives, including attending college, participating in sports and therapy sessions, and engaging in leisure activities.
Weekend work may include fun activities like swimming, pub outings, or pizza nights with students.
Qualifications and Experience
Prior experience is not essential, as we offer comprehensive training and development opportunities. We believe that working in care is a fulfilling career driven by passion and dedication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide daily care and support for students, including personal care needs, mobility, and encouraging independence.
2. Work with students who may present with behaviours of concern.
3. Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults.
4. Complete a Level 2 Health and Social Care Diploma & Care Certificate.
Requirements
An Enhanced DBS with barring (no cost) and reference checks will be sought from the successful candidate following the interview.
