Service: Family Contact Service, Children and FamiliesReports to: Team CoordinatorJob Family: People Care & Support (Direct Provision)Location: Post code M9 4DDPay Rate: £15 per hourWorking Hours: 35 hours per week, between 9:00-18:00 (depending on workload)Working Arrangement: Office-based, must have a full UK driving licence and own vehicle
Key Role Descriptors:
* Facilitate, supervise, and observe Contact visits, providing support and advice to children and parents.
* Undertake observation and assessment of Supervised Contact visits.
* Provide information and accurately record Contacts, monitoring the review action plan with the Social Worker.
Key Role Accountabilities:
* Understand Child Protection procedures and MCC social work procedures.
* Contribute to the assessment of child and family needs using the Assessment Framework.
* Manage all aspects of Contact visits, resolving behavioural and emotional issues.
* Ensure accurate and complete Child’s Contact Records.
* Commit to continuous self-development and service improvement.

Technical Requirements:
* Understanding of child development and experience with children and families.
* Knowledge of child protection procedures and MCC social work procedures.

* Willingness to apply for an enhanced CRB check.
* Current driving licence and use of a vehicle for transporting to and from family time.
