We are seeking a skilled and qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to join our team, providing essential gas services within the social housing sector in South West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of domestic gas appliances in tenanted and void properties, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and health & safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Carry out installation, servicing, and repair of domestic gas appliances, heating systems, and associated pipework. Diagnose faults and carry out reactive and planned maintenance in line with industry regulations. Conduct Landlord Gas Safety Inspections (CP12) and ensure properties remain compliant with legal requirements. Provide technical advice and support to tenants, ensuring they understand their heating systems. Work alongside local authorities and housing associations, maintaining strong working relationships with clients and residents. Ensure health & safety regulations are adhered to at all times, following best practices and company policies. Maintain accurate job records and documentation, using a PDA or relevant software. Participate in an on-call rota for emergency repairs and breakdowns. Requirements: Gas Safe registered with up-to-date ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1). Proven experience working as a Domestic Gas Engineer within the social housing sector. Strong knowledge of heating systems, boilers, and gas appliances in domestic properties. Good understanding of current gas regulations (GSIUR 1998) and compliance standards. Full UK driving licence (company vehicle provided). Excellent customer service and communication skills, with experience working in occupied homes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing workload efficiently.
