The Logistics Manager Opportunity:
We’re seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee daily activities and grow the team. You will have a sharp business mind, financial acumen and proven success in managing a similar department for maximum productivity. A typical schedule may run from Sunday to Thursday, with Friday and Saturday off, so weekend availability is needed. However, this can vary based on seasonal business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Increasing the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity
+ Maximising transparency through monthly management report and weekly updates
+ Implementing new processes as and when required
+ Ensuring that logistical activities remain on time and within budget
+ Tracking logistics requirements
+ Leading, motivating, and supporting our logistics team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment
+ Being hands on when the business requires it, and leading from the front
+ Working closely with other departments to ensure an overall smooth running operation
+ Working with HR to ensure compliancy in relevant matters
+ Overseeing materials and inventory
+ Overseeing vehicle / fleet management
+ Building rapport with on site staff and organisers
A bit about you:
+ Two or more years of proven success in a logistics management role
+ Proven leadership skills
+ Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organisational control of direct reports
+ Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite and Workforce Management Software (Liveforce)
+ Proven reporting experience
+ Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
