About the Role: As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant (Behaviour TA), you will work closely with students who require additional support to manage their behaviour and emotions. You will assist teachers in maintaining a structured and positive learning environment, implementing behaviour support strategies, and encouraging students to engage with their learning. This role is ideal for those with experience in behaviour management, youth work, or a similar setting. As a Behaviour TA, your responsibilities will be: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with behavioural needs. Assist in developing and implementing behaviour support plans tailored to individual students. Promote positive behaviour strategies and encourage engagement in learning. Help students with emotional regulation and social interaction in the classroom. Support teachers in creating a structured and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students. Foster confidence, independence, and resilience in students. Behaviour Teaching Assistant Requirements: Previous experience as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable. A CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, Education, or Behaviour Management is beneficial but not essential. Understanding of behaviour support strategies and experience working with students with challenging behaviour.
