Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement
Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only
Unique School Solutions are supporting a successful Secondary School in the S10 area of Sheffield, who are needing a Special Needs (SEND) Teaching Assistant to work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role will be working either within the classroom, or within the schools specialist SEND hub under the direction of teachers and the SENDCO. The role is to start ASAP and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:
- Previous experience working within a secondary school
- Experience working with young people aged 11-16
- Experience working with children/young people with Special Educational Needs
- The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
