As an English Lecturer, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to achieve their best, using innovative teaching methods tailored to a variety of learning styles.
Support students in overcoming challenges, boosting their confidence, and helping them achieve their qualifications.
Play an integral role in guiding learners through their academic journey, offering advice, encouragement, and pastoral care to help them thrive.
Work as part of a collaborative team dedicated to continuous improvement, curriculum development, and delivering excellence in teaching and learning.
what we are looking for:
* Holds a full teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
* Possesses GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
* Brings a passion for teaching and a proven ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
* Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Is proficient in using digital tools such as Microsoft Office, interactive whiteboards, MS Teams, and Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs).
Skills and Experience:
* A proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons and support learners in achieving their academic goals.
* Familiarity with designing engaging lesson plans and materials aligned with curriculum objectives.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of ability.
