About the firm
We’re delighted to partner with this international UK Top 50 firm to recruit a Lawyer to work within their alternative legal services delivery group, which brings together a multidisciplinary team, process design, and innovative legal technology. The team has over 100 lawyers, paralegals, management information specialists, and legal project managers who provide a wide range of services and solutions to clients, supporting the wider business on high volume workstreams, end-to-end managed services, and bespoke projects.
About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Real Estate Finance Lawyer to join their team. This role involves managing key workstreams for banking clients, supervising a small team of paralegals, and collaborating with partners and project managers to develop new services. You will also engage in bespoke projects and advocate for innovation within the legal process, providing leadership and expertise in legal technology and project management.
You will work closely with a dedicated Real Estate team when projects and services intersect, while also championing innovation and service excellence within the firm. Your responsibilities include optimizing legal processes and contributing to business development efforts to attract new clients. This position offers a chance to consolidate your existing knowledge, enhance your technical expertise, and gain experience in project and people management, as well as emerging legal technologies. About you
To be successful, you should be a qualified Lawyer with recent UK-based experience in Real Estate Finance or Banking within private practice. You should be comfortable leading established workstreams for banking clients and have some experience managing, supervising, and mentoring a team. A positive attitude towards working with project managers and legal technologists to improve service offerings is essential. Collaboration is key, and you will have the opportunity to work with the Real Estate team on overlapping projects.
You are a motivated and ambitious Lawyer who prides themselves on delivering exceptional client service and encouraging colleagues to do the same. You possess strong analytical and communication skills, can work strategically with clients and within a team, and are resilient under pressure. Effective organization and meeting deadlines are crucial. You should have excellent rapport-building skills, be thorough, attentive to detail, and able to see the bigger picture for your clients.

A natural enthusiasm for business development activities to generate new work opportunities is desirable, helping to expand both the firm’s and your personal profile. The role requires working from the Bristol or Plymouth office at least two days a week, with flexible remote working options available.
