Advanced Project Engineer
We have an opportunity for an Advanced Project Engineer to join us at Honeywell, located in Motherwell, Scotland. You will lead project teams (1-10 engineers) to implement engineering solutions within budget and time constraints. You will oversee the design and scope of systems, adhering to Honeywell's standards. Additionally, you will support project implementation, focusing on improving margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, working capital, and safety performance.
This is a remote-based role with occasional local travel.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the technical interface with customers, ensuring project requirements are fully defined and delivered within schedule and cost constraints.
2. Act as the technical interface to third-party suppliers to ensure correct functionality and integration of their deliverables into Honeywell systems or solutions.
3. Ensure all prerequisites (design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place before commencing work.
4. Produce and/or approve functional and detailed design specifications, providing technical leadership, support, and expertise to the project team.
5. Report progress and technical problems or changes to the Project Manager.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
1. Qualification in Engineering or relevant industry experience, particularly in Electrical background.
2. Experience managing technical content and people in projects.
3. Customer interfacing experience and strong interpersonal skills.
4. Strong experience in Process Automation and Control Systems Engineering.
5. Understanding of Honeywell DCS, PLC, SCADA Control Systems, or similar control systems.
