About the Role:
As a KS2 Primary Supply Teacher, you will be working in a variety of schools within the Romford area, covering classes in key stage 2. You’ll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and maintaining a positive, productive classroom environment. The role requires strong classroom management, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging lessons in line with pre-prepared plans.
* Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain a focused learning environment.
* Adapt quickly to different school settings and student needs.
* Provide feedback on student progress and behavior to the regular classroom teacher.
* Foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere where students feel motivated to learn.
Key Skills & Requirements:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – Essential.
* Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
* Strong classroom management skills to ensure a productive learning environment.
* Adaptability to work in different schools and settings, with various class structures.
* Excellent communication skills for clear instructions and building rapport with students and staff.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities to manage the day effectively.
* Ability to problem-solve and take initiative to ensure smooth lesson delivery.
