Currently we are a ten bedded unit with four designated beds for tracheal ventilation, and 6 designated beds to enable the delivery of Non Invasive Ventilation or Cpap to patients in acute respiratory failure. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate an excellent nursing knowledge base, with clinical skills that include the ability to care for patients who require tracheal ventilation. Knowledge of Non- Invasive Ventilation/Cpap is also a must to assist you in leading the team to deliver high quality to the acutely unwell respiratory patient. Main duties of the job The post requires excellent leadership skills, extensive knowledge of Non Invasive ventilation and tracheostomy management. You will be experienced within all areas of respiratory medicine and will hold a relevant mentorship qualification.
