What you will do in your working day
* We need someone who has a desire to be successful in education and passion for being a positive role-model to young people. You will work as part of a team to deliver safe and enjoyable activities for young people, support teachers and assist members of staff in the day-to-day duties of working in a school.
* Working with young people aged between 4 and 11 years.
* Supporting a teacher in various roles within the classroom.
* Supporting young people with their learning.
* Supporting young people with specific education needs (SEND), including running intervention groups.
* Be involved in creating displays and preparing resources.
* Understand the safeguarding and behaviour policy and their role within these policies.
* Ability to always conduct yourself in a professional manner whilst working in schools.
* An eagerness to learn more about becoming a Teaching Assistant.
* A passion for working with children.
* Relevant personal qualities including patience and communication.
* Ability to always show professionalism.
* Ability to listen and learn from more experienced staff.
