Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated radiographer to join our plain film team and cover maternity leave for one of our colleagues. The successful candidate will cover general x-ray, dental x-ray, theatres and fluoroscopy. Main duties of the job To provide high quality radiographic images whilst working on rotation through the main imaging areas of the department and to provide a mobile service to the wards and theatres. To have a professional, caring and responsible approach to patients. To participate in providing a 24/7 diagnostic imaging service and rotate through community satellite sites. Work autonomously when needed and as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team in the wider hospital setting. It is part of a district general hospital that provides plain film, CT, MRI, US, Fluoroscopy, Interventional radiology and breast imaging for the population of West Dorset and surrounding areas.
