The Role
This is an opportunity for a talented Building Standards professional to play a key role in the delivery of Falkirk Council’s Building Standards service. The individual will bring a strong sense of customer service, excellent communication, and an appetite for delivery of development and continuous improvement.
You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a wider team and have proven experience in delivering a quality Building Standards service.
You are required to be flexible, innovative and reactive to public demands and pressures.
Job Requirements
Educated to Degree Level or equivalent in Building Standards or a relevant discipline. Alternatively, the jobholder will require to hold full Chartered Membership of a construction related professional institute such as MRICS, MCABE, MCIOB, MBENG or equivalent.
As the duties of this role require you to effectively travel to successfully undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
