As part of our continued growth, We are recruiting for a Conformity of Production Validation Manager to join our Type Approval team. The successful candidate will manage the team responsible for the management of the conformity of product(s) produced by the Company for both national and international markets, and for working with internal departments and external partners to ensure CoP is maintained. The role will also involve periodic assessments to demonstrate ongoing compliance to the CoP requirements granted for all approved vehicles. The Role: Managing a growing team of CoP inspectors, producing and collating reports / documentation for submission to the approval authority. Accountable for the management and maintenance of various documents and records within the department. Accountable, in conjunction with other departments, for obtaining and maintaining CoP clearance for specified Wrightbus products. Validate the impact of CoP regulations associated with the design, manufacture and use of buses in any country in which the Company seek business opportunities. Responsible, in conjunction with other departments, for obtaining CoP clearance for any country in which the Company target vehicle placement. Responsible for reviewing vehicle design and specification to ensure previously granted clearances remain valid. Responsible, for creating overall audit plans, and arranging audit programs with external agencies. Overseeing the assessment, development, and creation of in-house test plans to ensure product compliance with Wrightbus approvals. To liaise with necessary departments, internal or external, to help resolve any regulatory noncompliances, as applicable. Undertake relevant training associated with the effective operation of the post. Provide relevant training associated with the effective operation of the post. The Requirements: Beng in Engineering 5 years proven experience in a homologation/compliance/quality-based role within an engineering and manufacturing environment. Experience of managing projects and people. Ability to understand technical drawings/models. Good problem-solving abilities. Strong Communication Skills, both verbal and written are essential. Competent in MS Office Applications, including MS Word and Excel. Theoretical knowledge of good engineering disciplines.
