Main Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior leadership, franchise and company owned branch network alongside your own in-depth research to identify local, regional, and national opportunities, focusing on high-potential sectors Define and create compelling, tailored service offerings that resonate with a broad range of businesses, ensuring our lawncare programs and specialised additional services address market demands Prepare and deliver high-quality, tailored proposals and presentations to potential customers. Manage the tender and bid processes, ensuring we successfully secure contracts Lead negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial contracts are structured that align with both business and our customer goals. Maintain a strong focus on securing profitable deals Drive the entire sales pipeline from prospecting through to deal closure. This includes identifying and qualifying leads, developing relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the successful conversion of opportunities into closed sales Work closely with our internal teams such as marketing, technology, operations as well as company owned and franchise branches to ensure service offerings align with customer requirements and our pre-determined SLA Utilise our CRM system effectively to track and manage sales activities, keeping data accurate and up-to-date. Ensure all customer interactions are properly documented to facilitate efficient follow-ups and relationship management Execute a multi-channel prospecting strategy that combines telephone, email, social media, and face-to-face activities. Introduce a lead scoring system to manage lead quality and improve conversion rates Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Provide regular reports and insights that support strategic decision-making and positioning Represent GreenThumb at local and national exhibitions, events, and trade shows, promoting our services and building relationships with potential customer and industry influencers Set clear sales goals, analyse performance data, and provide regular reports to drive sales, profitability, and continuous improvement Act with integrity and champion exceptional customer always experience standards in line with a pre-determined SLA. Ensure that client’s needs are consistently met, promoting long-term satisfaction, loyalty and brand advocacy Candidate profile: We are looking for someone who has: Five or more years of experience in managing business to business sales Proven track record in B2B business development, with demonstrable experience in managing sales pipelines, closing deals, and driving business growth Experience working with franchise networks or multi-location businesses is highly essential Experience of working with a CRM or equivalent office system Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels Highly organised, self-motivated, and driven by results, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Creative thinker who can generate a fresh approach to maximise lead generation. Willingness to advance internally through self-development and training Results orientated with a great awareness of team and department goals.
