Your new role This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, ambitious and client-focused individual to join a highly professional and friendly team. Working with the senior managers and partners, the main duties of the role will include: Audit work - audit planning, setting up audit tests and reviewing audit files, assisting with audit completion both individually and as part of an audit team using CCH automated audit software; SME company accounts in accordance with FRS 102/FRS 102 Section 1A; Reviewing and involvement in the preparation of management accounts; Sole trader/partnership accounts preparation and reviews of the same; Corporation tax; Review of VAT returns; and Client development and advisory What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified accountant, ICAEW, ICAS, CA, ACCA, with at least five year's general practice experience gained in a small to medium-sized firm. You will be experienced in auditing and preparing accounts. You will have excellent communication skills and have experience of people management. What you'll get in return Excellent salary.
