The Corporate Affairs, Group Brand and Insight team is responsible for building and protecting the reputation BT Group.
The Brand Strategy & Planning Insight professional, is responsible for delivering and championing Brand insights and tracking to support understanding performance and drivers of performance; providing clear recommendations on next steps. This role will work collaboratively across the business and truly shape the future direction of our brands.
What you’ll be doing
* Be the conscience of the customer, influencing stakeholders to do the right thing and acting as a business leader.
* Build relationships with stakeholders to understand their business areas and identify key brand risks and opportunities.
* Lead brand and campaign tracking insights across all BT Group brands.
* Deliver insight projects and programmes, embedding insights into key business activities and processes.
* Provide regular updates on brand and campaign performance, communicating improvement strategies.
* Champion brand strategy insights to inspire decisions and align research activities with brand priorities.
This role is essential in ensuring BT Group’s commitment to customer-centric decision-making and impactful insights.
The Skills and Experience You’ll Need
Must Have
* Significant experience in strategy, insight, or brand roles, either clientside or at a strategy consultancy or research agency.
* Skilled in stakeholder management, with a proven track record of establishing and managing relationships.
* Strategic and structured thinking with a commercial focus to drive the business forward and exceed targets.
* Good understanding and passion for brand and advertising, along with different research methodologies and techniques.
* Strong presentation skills, able to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, making the case for change.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Would be good to have:
* Knowledge and understanding of the UK telecoms market.
* Proven experience in developing strategy through insight for large organisations (e.g. FTSE 100).
* Proven experience in engaging, influencing, and collaborating with stakeholders.
* Proven experience of leading project delivery and managing agencies.
