You will need to be competent in BSL in order to be considered and there will also be opportunities to improve and develop your BSL skills and qualifications. The role involves providing support with daily living tasks as well as support to lead a busy and active life in the community, connecting with family and friends and doing the things that most of us might take for granted. The role can be great fun, meeting new people and being involved in a range of activities. It does require a lot of commitment and flexibility in order to provide consistent and high quality support.
