Job Purpose:
We seek to recruit an exceptional individual as a Communications, Events and Engagement Officer for our EPIC Futures Northern Ireland (NI) project. EPIC Futures NI is a £4.8million Local Policy Partnership (LPIP) hub, led by Ulster University and funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), Innovate UK and the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
The post holder will join an interdisciplinary team which involves academics and external actors from policy, industry and community representatives and will undertake a wide range of communication and engagement activities, and events to support EPIC Futures NI. The role will involve fostering new networks, collaborations and connections between the activities and research of EPIC Futures NI, the wider skills and employability ecosystem across Northern Ireland and across the LPIP network in the UK. The successful candidate will be innovative, digitally competent, highly organised, customer centric and capable of developing strategic plans and executing operational plans with meticulous attention to detail.
