Full Time Salary: £27,449.52 - £31,529.41 (pro rata for part time hours)
Responsibilities
Join us for a role centered around delivering personalised therapeutic support to referred Adult Males in the National Probation Service region. As a dedicated team member, you'll create bespoke sessions and activities tailored to individual needs, aligning with agreed Action Plans to support each person on probation.
About the Role:
1. Create Transformative Relationships
Engage in empathetic one-on-one sessions employing a variety of approaches. Your method will encourage positive change and prioritise safety through personalised sessions.
2. Effective Planning and Support
Thoughtfully develop tailored action plans for individuals on probation, adjusting the intensity as per their needs. Ensure accurate updates in the National Probation Service Customer Approved System for seamless monitoring.
3. Empowerment Through Connection
Gather comprehensive feedback, closely collaborate with Probation Practitioners, and address absences promptly. Perform risk assessments and manage potential risks by connecting individuals to community support agencies.
4. Innovate for Lasting Impact
Embrace creativity and adaptability, especially in supporting underrepresented communities. Respect confidentiality while nurturing trustworthy therapeutic relationships.
What You Bring:
5. 2 years of experience in criminal justice, substance misuse, or social care settings.
6. A passion for conducting therapeutic psychosocial interventions.
7. Commitment to multi-agency collaboration and partnership building.
8. In-depth knowledge of challenges faced by offenders.
9. Proficiency in leading and managing groups or pods.
