Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Team Manager to oversee and manage a team of up to 20 engineers in West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and driving performance to meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Lead, manage, and support a team of up to 20 field engineers, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities. Project Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and oversee field operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and assess team performance, implementing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all field activities are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team. Customer Relations: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any issues promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction. Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower and equipment, to optimize project delivery. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, team performance, and any issues or risks to senior management. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Skills Required: Experience: Proven experience in a similar managerial role within the telecoms industry or a related field. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members. Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of telecoms engineering principles and practices. Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Health and Safety: Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
