The role Fugro is seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our friendly team. In this role, you will assist with coordinating various facility-related tasks and activities to ensure compliance and meeting Health and Safety standards. Your duties will include obtaining quotes, scheduling and overseeing maintenance work, liaising with external contractors, notifying internal stakeholders of planned works, maintaining accurate records, using the facilities helpdesk, and other varied site activities. Additionally, this role requires the individual to perform various physical tasks, such as lifting and carrying heavy objects, standing for extended periods and assisting with the setup and breakdown of equipment. The candidate must be physically fit and capable of handling these demands safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational and communication skills.
