The Role
We are seeking a Design Engineer with a strong HVAC background to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient HVAC solutions for global pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.
As a subject matter expert, you will share your knowledge, support the development of innovative designs, and ensure our projects meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understanding client needs and possessing knowledge of innovative solutions.
* Sharing demonstrable knowledge and supporting the development of bespoke solutions and innovative designs.
* Developing expertise on energy efficiency of HVAC systems and working with Engineering KPIs.
* Applying knowledge in engineering complex GMP-compliant HVAC systems for building services.
* Working closely with the Engineering Team to develop technical expertise.
Business Operations and Supporting Business Growth:
* Participating in weekly Engineering Team Management meetings and identifying improvement areas across the business.
* Assisting in a culture of innovation and excellence and maintaining EECO2 Global SME status.
* Collaborating and assisting the business/engineering team to implement short and long-term plans of the business.

The Ideal Candidate:
* Bachelor's/Master's Engineering Degree or related field.
* MCIBSE or equivalent (Chartered Institute of Building Services) or IMechE or working towards professional qualification at CEng Level.
* Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical energy systems in buildings.
* Recent experience in HVAC system design and operation.
