Salary: £84 - £108 per day (Depending on Experience)

Are you ready to support young learners and help them shine? A "Good" primary school with "Outstanding" behaviour in Middlesbrough is looking for two passionate Teaching Assistants to join their friendly team!
One role will be focused on 1:1 support with SEN pupils, while the other will be working within a busy and vibrant Key Stage 2 classroom.
About the Role
The school is seeking full-time Teaching Assistants (Monday to Friday) who are dedicated to working with students with additional needs. Prior experience in primary education is ideal, but the school also welcomes graduates or candidates with secondary or SEN experience.
You’ll be joining a welcoming, supportive staff team that’s excited to help you grow in your role.
Your Main Responsibilities as Teaching Assistant:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils
2. Assist in behaviour management
3. Help with intervention groups to support pupil progress
4. Collaborate with the class teacher in planning and lesson delivery
5. Track student progress using formative and summative assessments
6. Encourage independence in life skills
7. Support high standards of safeguarding and pastoral care
Who We're Looking For in a Teaching Assistant:
1. Available full-time, Monday to Friday
2. Experience supporting students with additional needs (or a strong understanding of this area)
3. Positive, proactive, and compassionate personality
4. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
5. Fully checkable work history
