The Opportunity
KAEFER UK & Ireland is currently seeking an experienced on-site planner to work alongside the project manager and operational team to produce schedules of work on multi-discipline projects.
Key responsibilities:
1. Support the project manager and operational team in the successful planning and control of project delivery utilizing a range of planning and reporting tools and techniques.
2. Ensure that the project reporting requirements are met for both internal and client.
3. Work with project team to ensure project schedules are accurately developed and maintained with accurate resource.
4. Provide guidance and leadership to the planning team.
5. Address planning issues that arise and adapt plans to ensure project delivery.
6. Support in the production of tender information on site.
7. Liaise with the operational and technical design team.
8. Ensure the progress of the project is running to time scales and cost plans agreed.
9. Prepare and develop effective project planning schedules and project controls using Primavera P6 and associated planning software.
10. Prepare, develop, and maintain effective project reporting tools following established company processes and best practices.
11. Work collaboratively to develop and maintain client relationships.
12. With the ethos of LEAN and continuous improvement, ensure that the quality of the service (internally and externally) is developed and improved.
13. Any other reasonable duties as required.
