Production Planner - Hereford 08:00-16:30 Monday to Friday Purpose of the role: As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for the scheduling of the production lines and the materials required for product assembly. Operating in a fast moving, high volume and frequently changing environment, you will need to be comfortable receiving a significant amount of incoming data from various sources. Your key responsibilities will include: • Being the pivotal interface between planning and production to ensure on time delivery of our customers’ orders. • Being the key support to production management on daily operational deliverance, optimizing and balancing production lines for the best financial outcome. • Ensuring planned targets are met by creating and managing daily scheduling processes. Continual tracking of actual performance data against plan to ensure corrections can be made to keep on course. • Reviewing planning processes and planning data, along with working on departmental or combined departmental projects. • Working with sister sites on managing demand WIP and finished pack movements on a daily basis What we are looking for: • A logical thinker with strong numerical, analytical and evaluation skills. • High standard of IT Skills and advanced excel knowledge. • GCSE’s (or equivalent) in Math's and English. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to focus on the right priorities. • Ability to solve problems proactively and an effective decision maker. • Flexible, adaptable and eager to learn.
