This New Yorker is looking for a full or part time veterinary surgeon (new grad or experienced vets considered! The gig would suit either just fine!) to join his unique team over in Blackburn.
Do you want to work with an AMAZINGLY AWESOMELY SUPREMELY TALENTED world-renowned vet and their team in the heart of Lancashire?
I'm not sure if she/he is recruiting…but I am!
A bit about the team!
At Blackburn Vets4Pets we are well known for our supportive team approach to veterinary care, with the team of 3 Vets, 4 RVN's, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, 4 CCA's being led by our Practice Manager to ensure a friendly work environment is achieved.
As a team we enjoy having fun whilst working, including singalongs in surgery, in addition to the occasional nights out as a team, the big one being our annual Christmas party. We also love trying new things as a team- a curling and chippy day out being one of them., Pets just see people. They aren't biased and they don't discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don't perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
We can accommodate flexibility on the working hours if you have childcare, or hobbies outside of work we can work with this. There would be a weekend rota of 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9am-1pm) with time back during the week.
In practice we run 15-minute consults with dedicated downtime throughout the day for catch up, including 15 mins every hour. In addition, our fantastic team of nurses do their own consults and give injections which eases the vet workload to allow us to concentrate on our own consults and surgery.
Who am I?
I'm that nerdy vet who loves rap music and 80's cartoons.
I'm that dude who travelled to Wales to hang with his pals Lin-Manuel Miranda and Percy
Weasley for a Broadway singalong at a pub.
I'm that fella who brought his guitar and top hat to work to jam while walking down the aisles.
The ideal candidate should be able to enjoy life and tolerate my singing in surgery. Interested?
