Stamford School has an exciting opportunity for an Examinations Office to ensure the smooth running of all examination activities.
The Examinations Officer is responsible for the work of the Examinations Office and will be responsible for the organisation and administration of all external and mock examinations taken by our students.
The appointed candidate will report to the Assistant Head Data and Exams. Stamford School recognises that examinations can be stressful for students, parents and staff. There the smooth and efficient running of Examinations Office is vital to the wellbeing of all. This post involves working in close collaboration with other members of staff in a range of duties liaising closely with students and parents as well as staff from across the school. Depending upon what is best for our students, the School enters students for GCSE, IGCSE, Cambridge Technicals, BTEC, GCE AS and A Level examinations, with as required by our Heads of Department.
Desired Criteria
* Experience working in the Education sector.
* Exam management experience in BTEC and Cambridge Technicals.
* General understanding of and/or willingness to learn exam software and MIS platforms (iSAMs).
Essential Criteria
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong communicator and a good team player.
* Knowledge of JCQ and awarding body regulations.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management.
* Flexible and adaptable and demonstrate attention to detail.
Application Details
This is a term time position + 3 weeks, with 37.5 working hours per week. This role attracts an annual salary of £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (actual for term time + 3 weeks), dependent on qualifications and experience.
