Temporary to Permanent contract for Chefs, either Senior Chef De Partie or up to and including a Senior Sous Chef at a stunning rural location set in Buckinghamshire. Working 13 weeks via Interaction Recruitment and with a view to go permanent from week 14. To start as soon as possible.
Salary: salary c. to based on experience plus excellent benefits and perks
Location: Buckingham MK18
Hours: 40hours per week plus overtime
Rota: typically, Monday to Friday, 1:2 or 1:3 weekend cover required
Notes:
* Current team: 10 and expanding to 13 in 2024 then looking to expand further in 2025
* Catering for c.400 at breakfast + c.1000 at lunch + c.800 at dinner
* Produce volume c.120kg chicken / c.30kg fresh fruit / c.40l soup in one lunch service
* Approx. spent on produce monthly
* High volume, high quality, 95% fresh produce
* Private functions, open days, hospitality, picnics, bbq s, Christmas market etc
* 6 hot plates, salad bar, deli bar, desert station, soup station within main dining area
* Providing coffee shop menu for the Benugo café

Candidate profile:
* Shall be flexible, adaptable, reliable, communicative and a team player with a good positive can do attitude
* Will be a driver with access to a reliable vehicle
* Lives within a commutable distance from Buckingham, ideally within a 35-40 minutes drive
* Must have relevant experience perhaps from a large commercial kitchen within the leisure industry or large hotels or cruise ships for example
* Should be conscious of food waste, willing to input on menus and aspire to create new and exciting dishes for the customer
* Will be physically fit, you ll likely do to steps per day and be up and down kitchen stairs 42 times per day on average
