Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school community in Coleford. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and passionate educator to inspire students and foster a love for language learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Spanish.
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the delivery of the modern foreign languages curriculum.
* Participate in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs and cultural events.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Spanish or a related field.
* Experience teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4 levels.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable:
* Experience with GCSE exam preparation and assessment.
* Familiarity with the latest teaching strategies and technology in language education.
* Willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
