Due to rapid growth and expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Commercial department, for a Tender Manager to join the team.
This role will involve managing the preparation and ensure the accurate and timely submission of tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Actively convert enquiries into secured backlog at approved EBITDA levels.
2. Actively lead the tendering process for all assigned tenders, providing guidance for execution methodology, market pricing and Client expectations. This can involve leading tendering teams of up to 5 people.
3. Lead Tender meetings and other stage-gate reviews to ensure competitive tenders are submitted on time and in line with the Client’s requested format.
4. Maintain contact with the Client both during and after operational phases within your area of responsibility; strive to secure repeat business.
Key Tasks:
1. Thorough review of ITT, definition of Client/tender requirements, preparation of Tender Summary Slides, and dissemination of relevant tender information to all relevant parties supporting the tender.
2. Clarify expected internal requirements and delivery deadlines.
3. Prepare and submit approved tender documentation.
4. Ensure the CRM system is updated and accurate with regards to assigned tenders.
5. Manage the tender phase, including:
1. Review ITT requirements.
2. Ensure qualifications are comprehensive yet reasonable, maximising the chances of success whilst adequately safeguarding the Company’s interests.
3. Liaise with internal support departments to optimise technical and commercial solution.
4. Provide input on optimum use of assets from a commercial standpoint.
5. Review and challenge the technical solution as appropriate.
6. Develop pricing and risk registers as required for internal review.
7. Lead and present Tender review meetings.
8. Accurately critique final tender documentation prior to submission.
9. Ensure finalised tender is delivered within the Client deadline.

1. Tenders completed in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
2. Tenders presented for review with risks appropriately identified and mitigated.
3. Clear evidence of full engagement and compliance with the appropriate procedures.

Essential Qualifications:
1. Relevant Degree (Business or Engineering).
