Our client, a nationally recognised land and estate services company, is seeking a highly motivated Principal Surveyor to drive technical management and client engagement across their DNO network area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the company's success by delivering high-quality solutions for their clients.
Position Overview
As a Principal Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day technical management of large connection projects and land acquisition across the client's DNO network area. You will work closely with both internal and external clients, providing guidance on land acquisition, planning regulation, valuation, and compensation to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
* Drive technical management of land and estate projects
* Maintain and strengthen client relationships through effective engagement
* Provide technical guidance on land acquisition, planning, and valuation
* Ensure a continuous performance culture within the team
* Analyse problems and identify solutions for project delivery
Requirements
* MRICS qualification (required)
* RICS Registered Valuer qualification (desirable)
* CAAV qualification (desirable)
* Strong technical and professional knowledge in the field
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
* Commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
* Experience in the renewable sector (desirable)
