Our client is recruiting for a Manual Turner to join their growing team! They are leaders in their field and offer support to their customers from concept to commissioning.
Manual Turner Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Produce parts to tight tolerances, using engineering drawings as guides.
2. Carry out turning, boring, trepanning, roughing and finishing operations.
3. Working with stainless steel, alloys, brass, copper, and plastics.
4. Working on standard sized manual lathe – willing to learn to use larger machines such as Binns & Berry and Horizontal Borer.
The ideal Manual Turner will:
1. Be able to read and work from engineering drawings.
2. Preferably be a time served apprentice with a couple of years post apprenticeship experience.
3. Be self-motivated and enthusiastic towards tasks.
4. Be able to perform turning, boring, trepanning, roughing & finishing operations (training can be provided).
Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30 / Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
