Inventory Planner Salary: £27,000 42 Hours per week Days Shift pattern required: Monday - Friday with 1 weekend 4 from 8:30am – 17:30pm Full Time, FTC 12 month Bicester Great opportunity for an Inventory Planner to join our team. Your workload will be fast paced and varied, from placing orders with suppliers from all around the world to create a plan and manage the stock levels for multi-temp products across a variety of categories and locations within our Depot located in Bicester. In this role you will liaise with Account Managers regarding customers’ requirements and ensure the stock levels are sufficient for customer demand. You’ll support the Supply Chain Manager to forecast requirements and oversee the management of the booking-in system - keeping the business informed of volume changes/fluctuations to minimise waste and maximise profitability. You will review supplier information provided by the procurement team, highlighting potential opportunities or threats that could impact the business and attend meetings to share your findings with colleagues. To join us in this role you will have a can-do attitude and previous experience in customer service as part of a high performing team ideally within a Supply Chain, fresh produce, FMCG background. You’ll need excellent attention to detail to use your previous experience and logical thinking to overcome challenges as they arise to ensure a positive outcome to keep our customers satisfied. Having prior knowledge of food safety standards would be advantageous along with strong skills on a computer with Microsoft office in particular excel.
