A brilliant job opportunity has arisen for a German Speaking Team Manager to lead the international sales support team for an incredible client of ours that have a strong reputation within the technology sector. \n\nThe purpose of the position is to take responsibility of the international team that supports multiple markets across Europe.\n\nA key focus will be on the German market which is brand new for this business but will have massive growth.\n\nYour team works with field sales managers in Europe and supports them with the sales they are making.\n\nSalary = £39,000 per annum basic salary\n\nBonus = The bonus is a mixture of individual and team performance. A conservative estimate of £(phone number removed) per annum.\n\nBenefits = hybrid working (3 days a week in the office), 22 days holiday, Christmas shut down, healthcare cash plan, life assurance, employee discount portal\n\nTraining = You will have a structured 2 week training and induction plan that really sets you up well for this role\n\nYou will be responsible of a team of 5 and be responsible for leadership, coaching and development of the team.
You will also service day-to-day customer requirements in the German speaking regions.\n\nDuties include:\n\nManage, motivate and drive the team ensuring all key tasks aimed towards achieving revenue targets and adopt clear communication channel and working relationship with the International Sales Director.\nTo ensure international customers receive the highest level of customer service in all areas\nBreak down the sales target to daily levels to ensure a "this is where we are" ethos, thus increasing the team's focus on sales.\nEnsure all quotations are maximized by ensuring that cross/up selling is being conducted where opportunities arise or are needed and that they are all followed up proactively, efficiently and effectively.\nEnsure that their team are aware of and focused on the desired margins but not to lose orders based on this without referral.\nEnsure the Team has a growth mentality; supporting their development and fostering the need for self-learning to become successful in their roles.\nEnsure that workload distribution is even across the team, as well structure in place for the team to support other areas as well as their own to ensure continuity of service.\nTo understand and comply with all company policies, processes and procedures that are currently in operation and to undertake ownership and responsibility to implement new working practices which aid business efficiency.\nAct as the first point of escalation for any day-to-day issues that may arise.\nAttend regular Sales, Operational and Customer meetings as required. \n\nWhat you need to bring:\n\nCreate a target driven and customer centric culture\nCreate a proactive approach to work for all members of the team\nChallenge existing processes and implement change\nRecognise team achievements \n\nThe ideal candidate for this role:\n\nNeeds to be fluent in German\nWill have proven experience within a customer service or internal sales environment\nWill have at least 2 years experience as a team manager or leader\nExperience in European distribution and having export knowledge is a advantage \n\nTherefore if you match up to this criteria and like the challenge of this role then please do not hesitate and apply today
