Key Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of clients, including reviewing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders for senior management review.
* Reviewing corporation tax computations and returns.
* Completing, reviewing, and filing monthly and quarterly VAT returns under various VAT schemes.
* Reviewing monthly and quarterly management accounts to a high standard.
* Liaising with clients on technical queries and software-related issues.
* Assisting with the development and training of junior team members and managing workflow.
* Delivering excellent client service.
* Supporting Partners with ad-hoc work.
Desired Skills and Experience
* 1-2 years post-qualified with ACA/ACCA.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in practice.
* Knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
* Experience with accounting systems such as CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Alphatax is preferred.
* Strong client relationship skills.
* Hands-on, diligent, with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Organized, able to multitask, with keen attention to detail.
* Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Team player with a strong work ethic and drive.
* Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
