Level 3 Childcare Qualification essential
Footsteps Nursery Lichfield Road are seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join the growing team. This beautiful nursery, rated Good by Ofsted (January 2022), is comprised of three main buildings and provides quality childcare in a cosy home from home setting for children from birth to 5 years. Lichfield Road Nursery boasts half an acre of outdoor space and a bespoke onsite forest school with an outdoor classroom.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Deliver learning experiences and planned activities for a key group that provides outstanding opportunities for the children
- Work within a team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children
- Work in partnership with parents to ensure the outcomes for children are met
- Assess and report on children's progress to ensure continued development
- Be passionate, inspiring and work effectively within a team and have a hands on approach to your own professional learning and development
- To be fun, caring and friendly
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
What we need from you?
- Passion and commitment for working in childcare
- Ability to work shifts between 7.30-6.00pm Monday to Friday working 40 hours per week
- Commitment to continual development
- Have sound Knowledge of EYFS
- NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, NVQ level 3, EY Educator
