Job Title: Planning Supervisor
Location: Staffordshire, UK
Contract / Shift: Permanent, Full Time – Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

About the role:
We are seeking a progressive and motivated Planning Supervisor to join Premier Nutrition. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone to develop a small but vital team within our organisation.
The purpose of this role is to ensure smooth planning of our products for production, allowing us deliver to our UK and international customers effectively.
The Planning Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the planning team, working closely with the UK & International Customer Services & Planning Manager, Site Operations Manager, Finance, and the Continuous Improvement (CI) team to improve existing processes and develop new ways of working. This ensures all planning requirements are met and feed safety is maintained.
Responsibilities – Not limited to:
5. Manage the day-to-day activities of the team, including coordinating workload, planning resources, coaching, and training, setting priorities, and providing additional support when necessary.
6. Establish and maintain effective and long-term working relationships with various teams within the business and third-party suppliers to provide prompt and efficient responses to all enquiries.
7. Efficiently monitor order requirements, anticipating and resolving potential issues, including factory planning, raw material and stock control, associated haulage requirements, and interactions with customer services and site operational teams.
8. Maintain the company’s ERP & MES systems, ensuring they are aligned and up to date. Create reports as required.
9. Work closely with key stakeholders to enable efficient planning operations and process efficiency.
10. Liaise with Customer Services, Production, Technical, and Quality staff to ensure customers’ requirements are fulfilled, escalating issues to impacted parties as required.
11. Deputise for the UK & International Customer Services & Planning Manager as required.
About you:
12. Day-to-day people management, including supporting recruitment, ER case management, and change initiatives.
13. Working knowledge of planning in fast-paced manufacturing environments
14. Knowledge/experience of working within an S&OP cycle.
15. Experience in improving existing processes, developing new ways of working, and embedding these changes.
16. Microsoft Office and Systems knowledge (e.g., AX)
17. Understanding of the Agri industry/animal nutrition (Desirable)
Additional information:
18. Travel between sites when required.

20. Valid driving license required.
