Coyle Personnel, one of the UK’s leading family-run staffing solutions providers, is currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Facilities Management sector across Ealing. Role Summary:
As a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting planned and reactive maintenance checks on electrical systems, as well as mechanical and HVAC plant and equipment. This role requires a 'can do' approach, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
1. Execute scheduled planned preventative maintenance tasks as directed by the Company, following company and statutory procedures.
2. Complete work risk assessments and ensure safe working practices with consideration for the environment and others' safety.
3. Respond to reactive breakdowns, conducting fault finding and necessary repairs according to company and statutory procedures.
4. Undertake small project work installations in compliance with company and statutory procedures.
5. Uphold the company's corporate image by wearing and maintaining the company uniform.
6. Identify replacement parts, obtain costs, and place orders through the company Buyer.
7. Provide support to Contract Managers and Supervisors as requested.
8. Identify and seize opportunities to secure additional works.
9. Regularly submit extra works Estimate Sheets.
Requirements:
1. Good all-round technical ability with a working knowledge of various Building Services Equipment.
2. Hold relevant Electrical Engineering trade qualifications.
3. Full UK driving licence.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to multitask, be methodical, and work unsupervised while being an active team member.
7. Proactive approach to problem-solving.
8. Comprehensive understanding of health and safety within the industry, with the ability to implement control measures at the site level.
