Role : CHP Service Engineer Location : South West, Bath area Salary : £34,000 to £42,000 plus overtime S henton Group is on the lookout for a motivated and adaptable CHP Service Engineer to join our team What’s the role? As a CHP Service Engineer, you will be required to provide and deliver a consistently high technical and professional level of service to our customers while acting as an ambassador of the Shenton Group brand. You will need a focus on quality with strong attention to detail and an enthusiastic attitude to achieve the customer’s full requirements. You’ll travel around the UK in your company provided vehicle carrying out a mixture of scheduled service work and reactive work which may involve overnight stays, so a flexible approach to working patterns is required. This role is a fantastic balance of working independently with the backup of a strong support team in the office to enable you to fulfil your role. You will be part of our wider technical support team that supports both internal colleagues and external customers with a can-do approach. What do you need? You need to have a keen attitude and take a positive proactive approach to engaging with your role and your colleagues. You need to be able to collaborate and take responsibility for tasks including seeking opportunities to improve. You should have at least 3 years of solid mechanical background of working with LTHW hot water systems, including practical experience of pumps, inverter drives, flow rates, delta T, boiler operations, and associated BMS controls. Strong practical electrical engineering knowledge of LV power generation and distribution systems is also required. Trained in MWM is desirable, as is a practical knowledge of high-level software-based control systems such as Comap, Web Supervisor, Inteli Monitor, Lite Edit, TEM, TPEM etc. An ability to work with complex equipment such as flue gas analysers, digital water flow and temperature profiling devices is also essential. Decent IT skills with Outlook, Excel, & Word, including practical experience of using laptop based bespoke engine system analysis and control programmes such as Comap PC Suite / DSE Configuration Suite will enable you to fulfil this role confidently.
