To assist the Clinical Team Lead Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist in overseeing the application of clinical governance, including the implementation of clinical risk, clinical audit and evidence-based practice. To optimise the effective and efficient use of clinical and organisational skills and resources to ensure that your service is highly responsive to clinical and local service priorities and needs. As a line manager to have responsibility for the daily operational management, supervision and co-ordination of the Newhaven Rehabilitation Therapy team including staff appraisal, performance management, informal grievance, and disciplinary actions Lead on workforce for the service and skill mix reviews as appropriate To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable, as an autonomous practitioner, for all aspects of your own work including the management of patients in your care. To help recruit, motivate, manage and develop a team of staff to ensure therapy is successfully delivered in the appropriate manner
