Impact Recruitment are currently looking for a Production Operative who has experience using chemicals. As a production operative you will have a keen eye for detail and delicate approach to work with small parts. The role will involve inspecting products and using various chemicals to complete production processes.
The role includes inspection, chemical based machines, and working to a high standard to follow technical instructions. As a senior team member you will also be responsible for closing down and locking up the site which includes setting alarms and locking the building.
Location: Northampton
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Wednesday to Saturday 9am - 5pm
Salary: £28,000
Responsibilities:
1. Safely handle and apply chemicals
2. Work in accordance with COSHH regulations
3. Inspect customer products to ensure quality standards
4. Ensure safe and proper manual handling techniques
5. Conduct equipment maintenance and testing to ensure reliable performance
6. Maintain accurate records of processes and inspections
7. Maintain a clean and tidy work area
8. Follow security protocols
9. Setting of burglar alarms and locking the site
Requirements:
1. Previous COSHH training is highly preferred
2. Experience in first aid is beneficial
3. Knowledge of safe manual handling practices
4. Strong attention to detail and precision in work
5. Ability to inspect customer products with care
6. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
